In short
TechniPocket has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your DNS data never passes through a server of ours.
Your servers
The app connects directly from your device to the Technitium servers you add. Their addresses, names and colours are stored on your device, the API token in the iOS keychain or the Android keystore. Your password is used once to create that token and is never stored. The app revokes the token when you remove the server. What your servers log about these requests is up to you.
App updates
The app can load updates from an update server operated by SPAL. To do so it sends the app version, platform, operating system version and a random installation ID created by the update plugin. No usage statistics are sent to anyone.
Purchases
If subscriptions are offered, Apple or Google processes the purchase. The app only learns whether a subscription is active.
On your device
Settings, saved searches and unlock codes stay on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. Links such as the web console open in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask what data about you exists, and have it corrected or deleted. Apart from the installation ID for updates, SPAL holds no data from this app. You may also complain to the Austrian data protection authority (dsb.gv.at).
